New Position

Starting APRIL 2019 – Applications Via Email and Post – Last acceptance 24th March 2019



We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working, energetic individual who is passionate about craft beer with a strong work ethic.

As part of our brewery team will you be responsible for the following:

- General assistance to the brewer(s)

- Measuring time, temperatures and weighing out ingredients

- Operating various plant machinery

- Cleaning and sanitising of process plant, casks, kegs and general stores areas

- Record keeping / Stock control / Data entry and report generation

- Follow detailed operating procedures where necessary recording and entering information

- Product transfer, filling, packaging and merchandising

- Retail and wholesale sales co-ordination and delivery

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate on all aspects of the role.


Minimum of 18 years of age.

Brewing experience desired but not necessary

Some heavy lifting is required

The role is partially customer facing with bar shifts on Fridays & Saturdays that you must be available for

Varied - Flexible hours

Driving license desired but not necessary


Ideal applicant will be / have…

Good written and verbal communication skills, numeracy skills, excellent multi-tasking abilities and excellent hygiene practice.

An understanding of safety and security - having the ability to observe safety and security procedures and follow accurately

Problem solving - Identifying any problem in a timely manner and either resolving or gathering relevant information to pass on to be resolved by another member of the team.

Planning and organising - Prioritising and planning work activities and using time efficiently. Meeting productivity standards and completing tasks in a timely manner

Quality control - demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness, monitoring own work to ensure quality and applying feedback to improve performance. An understanding the relevance of individual processes with regard to overall product quality downstream

Dependability - consistently at work and on time, following instructions, responding to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance

Good judgement - the ability to make appropriate decisions following standard brewery policies and past precedents. Recognise the emergency of a situation and take appropriate action. Think through the consequences of a decision prior to making it.
